SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made two changes to his starting line-up against Northampton Town, with new loan signing John-Joe O’Toole going straight in to the team to face his parent club.
O’Toole comes in for Ryan Leonard who misses out with a groin injury and will line up in a central midfield position.
The other alteration comes on the left flank where Myles Weston has replaced Kevan Hurst who misses out with a migraine.
However, the rest of the side remains the side with Cian Bolger lining up at the heart of the defence alongside Luke Prosser.
Southend United: Bentley, Thompson, Bolger, Prosser, White, Worrall, Timlin, O’Toole, Weston, Payne, Corr
Substitutes: P Smith, Atkinson, Clifford, Coulthirst, Deegan, Binnom-Williams & Sokolik
