A MUM-of-two raised more than £1,000 for charity by braving a phobia of heights to do a tandem parachute jump.
Sarah Brown, 39, raised £515 in sponsorship for her jump in aid of Havens Hospices, which was then doubled by a Community Cashback award from her employer, Royal Bank of Scotland.
Miss Brown, of Moseley Street, Southchurch, completed her big leap at Chatteris airfield, in Cambridgeshire, watched by her parents and children Ryan, 15, and Megan, ten.
She said: “I’m not particularly fond of heights, so it was a very big challenge to go up and do this, but I felt the cause was so worthwhile I had to do it.
“I’d like to thank everyone who supported me, especially Beewise Security and Xpress PCs who both sponsored me.”
