A WICKFORD artist’s work has impressed chart-topping band the Prodigy so much, they asked him to design a limited edition print to help promote their upcoming tour.

The electro dance group enlisted the talents of Dan Kitchener to create a limited-edition print to sell on the sellout tour to promote their new album, Invaders Must Die.

Dan, 34, of Nevendon Road, Wickford, who has already made a name for himself as an acclaimed street artist, was commissioned to create a design he calls Grounded, after the Essex band saw his portfolio of work.

Dan said: “It’s a limited edition print, so only 500 have been made in total. About 20 will be available for fans to buy at each Prodigy gig on the tour. It’s an honour for my work to be associated with such a great band – one I have grown up listening to since the Nineties.”

Invaders Must Die is the fifth studio album by the Prodigy, who formed in Braintree, in the early Nineties and are best known for their number one hit, Firestarter.

Dan has plenty of other activites lined up, including a several art exhibitions this year. He will also be as showng his work at the Ideal Home Show at London’s Earl’s Court next month.
