Bikers on the seafront at last year's Southend Shakedown
Police will be providing extra roadside patrols as a popular bike rally heads towards Southend tomorrow.
The 17th annual Southend Shakedown will depart from Stonebridge, in north-west London, at 10.30am.
The fundraiser will see hundreds of bikers arrive at Southend seafront for a family-focused day out.
Sergeant Nick Edwards, of Essex Police's motorcycle unit, confirmed the force would be providing extra patrols along the A13 and A127 on the day.
