Southend Standard: Police want to speak with man after spitting Police want to speak with man after spitting

POLICE want to speak to this man in connection with an assault at WH Smiths in Southend.

Officers are appealing for help in identifying a man pictured on CCTV following an incident in WH Smith, High Street in which a sales assistant was spat at.

The sales assistant, in his 20s, was spat at by a man at about 5.40pm on November 23.

Anyone who can identify the man pictured is asked to contact Pc Ann Bush at Southend police station on 101.

If he spits at you, will you turn him in then? What if it were your son or daughter spat at while they were doing their job? Would you turn him in then?

The phrase makes it sound like reporting someone is a bad thing...think of it more as reporting a criminal that is part of a group of people that ruin everyone else's life's collectively.

Plus you may think not being a grass is noble, but most criminals aren't so noble and would commit an offence against yourself without any such deliberation.

True, if you are a grass the dregs of society will think badly of you, but then they are reliant on people keeping quiet so they can continue their lives screwing other people's lives up.
