Why is the passenger arrested for drink driving?

they should of got out and run. I did that once, i was drink driving, i actually got pulled over, I stopped and got out and run! And I got away too. What would you rather a drink drive charge or run off!

I believe that is the tactic used because if the blame game was to drag on for some time and then one admitted the offence the evidence would be lost, so they take readings of all people in car and then the relevant reading can be used later. I think!!
