KNIFE-WIELDING robbers may have watched a man use a cashpoint before they struck.

The two men followed their victim along Bradbourne Road, Grays, before threatening him with the blade.

They grabbed £300 cash from the 32-year-old man before running off towards Bridge Road.

Det Con Suzanne O’Neill, of Thurrock CID Target Team, said: “He had withdrawn some cash prior to the robbery, so it is possible that the suspects may have followed him.

“We want to hear from anyone that was in the area that may have seen this pair behaving suspiciously leading up to the attack, or that saw the attack itself. This information may help us catch those responsible and bring justice for the victim.”

The robbers struck at about 11.30am on Tuesday, January 11 after the victim had walked up from Clarence Road.

They both looked Chinese.

One was 25-35 years old, 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins tall, and skinny. He had black collar- length greasy hair and spotty skin.

He was wearing dark jeans and a blue jacket. He spoke good English but with a Chinese accent.

The second suspect was stocky, had short dark hair and was wearing a cream coloured jacket.
