CLASSIC car owners were out in force on Southend’s seafront this Fathers’ Day.
With the offer of a free breakfast from traders on the seafront, classic car owners parked up at City Beach, Marine Parade, to display their vehicles.
Organised by the Southend Classic Car Club, the only qualifying criteria was that the car must be at least 25 years old.
Around 40 cars were on show with fine examples of a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle, an Ford Zodiac from 1961, a 1967 Chevrolet Camero and even a 1975 Rolls Royce Shadow.
If you missed the cars on display this time though, fear not, there will be another event of Sunday, September 20.
