Ordnance found on beach
A PIECE of ordnance was discovered on the beach in Shoebury.
Southend Coastguard and Essex Police were called to the scene just before 11.10am yesteday to the ordnance.
The Ministry of Defence’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team deemed it safe and removed the item.
