A FAMILY of six were assessed by paramedics following a crash in Westcliff.

All three emergency services attended the scene of the accident, at the junction of Westcliff Parade and Wilson Road, shortly before 1pm yesterday.

A blue Nissan Almeria and a black Skoda Octavia were involved in the collision and a third parked car, a silver Volkswagen, also sustained damage.

An ambulance and paramedic officer attended the crash, assessing eight people – a family of six and a further two from the second vehicle – but no one required hospital treatment.
