Southend road blocked after two-car smash
A ROAD in Southend was blocked for two hours in both directions following a smash involving two vehicles.
An ambulance was called to Vale Avenue at 1.50pm to attend the incident.
A woman in her thirties was treated at the scene for minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
The road was reopened by 4pm this afternoon.
