A COLLABORATION between Essex and Kent police forces has won police project of the year.

The joint Essex and Kent Support Services Directorate was awarded the gong at a ceremony held by the Improvement and Efficiency Social Enterprise on Tuesday.

The directorate is designed to improve service quality and make financial savings by sharing support services between Essex and Kent Police.

Nick Alston, Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex, commented: "This national award demonstrates that Essex and Kent are at the forefront of police force collaboration, delivering an effective and efficient service, both for our busy teams of officers and staff and, crucially, for the people of our counties."

Are you still commenting?

What do you know about anything?

Apparently you appear to believe I live in a council flat, so I see from another thread.

You really are like the other knuckleheads on here. Know all yet know nothing.

It's time you sloped off to the Guardian website where you will be made welcome by the other idiot lefties.

Never ASSume... it makes an **** of you. You have no idea of the status of property I live in. You don't even know who I am.

Now how about you pipe down and go and comment somewhere where people are more on your intelligence level.. oh but of course, you're already here, judging by the comments of some of your alter egos.

Now I've dealt with you (you're not brave enough for me to do it face to face) I do not believe in sharing forces, be they police or the ambulance service or otherwise. Another cheapskate scheme.

The police force needs expanding to cover the rising crime rate which is being augmented by the increasing number of gangs and thugs being allowed into this country. As if we haven't enough of our own.

The population is growing and the police force is shrinking. And when they do investigate, it's usually decent people who are targeted by crackpots... we've seen a lot of that in the news lately.

And the less said about Nick Alston the better. The man doesn't look you in the eye when you speak to him. I have heard others say this of him too. And you cannot ask him a question without putting it to his team first, so they can come up with enough information to fob you off with a lame answer.

Personal experience again, unlike the numpty above who just assumes.

Again, if you're going to make a comment, make it relevant and keep it on topic instead of gobbing of about things you know nothing about.
