OFFICERS are appealing for information after a man's van windows were kicked in a fit of road rage.
A 63-year-old man from Westcliff was driving his van on the A127 slip road just before the Tesco roundabout, Westcliff, at about1pm on Sunday, February 9, when he was cut up by a vehicle, leading to him flashing his lights and using his horn.
Both vehicles stopped at the traffic lights and four men allegedly got out of their vehicle and kicked the victim’s van windows and side panel. He had to lock his doors as he was in fear of his safety.
The men then got back in their vehicle and drove away.
The victim was unable to get a description of the vehicle or the men inside and any witnesses are asked to contact PC Trevor Phillips at Southend on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
