CROOKS broke into a house in Stock last month and stole two bronze ornaments from Africa.

On Wednesday January 8 thieves took the pair of Benin bronze heads, both about nine inches tall, from the property in Swan Lane.

They also stole an iPad, laptop, pearl necklace and a silver locket.

The pieces from Africa have been described by police officers investigating the incident as "distinctive".

Pictures of the ornaments have been released as officers appeal for information.

Anyone who believes they can help police in this case should call Dc Eva Verlander at Chelmsford CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
