FOUR men have been treated for injuries – including stab wounds – after an incident in Southend town centre in the early hours of this morning.
Around 1.30am, police say “a disturbance” took place in London Road, near Sainsbury’s, after which the four were taken to hospital with their injuries.
All four were arrested and two were taken to Southend police station for questioning.
Those two are an 18-year-old from South Woodham and a 21-year-old from south London, arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
The other two remain in hospital.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Southend CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
