A MAN has been arrested in connection with the theft of £35,000 worth of rare beer from a Billericay Warehouse.

A 10-strong gang of thieves stole about 16,000 bottles of Brew Dog beer from Ales By Mail in Radford Way on December 30.

The beers were part of a range that were exclusive to the company and were not due to be put on general sale until January.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

He has been bailed until April 1, pending further enquiries.
