RESIDENTS of South Essex are being warned to brace themselves for heavy snowfall on Sunday.
Throughout much of Friday and Saturday most areas saw very light flurries of snow throughout the day.
But the Met Office has warned that Essex and other parts of the South East will see the worst of conditions on Sunday.
Snow is expected to begin to fall from 12pm continuing into the night, possibly as late as 9pm.
Forecasters are predicting as much as five to eight centimetres could fall along the Essex coastline, with two to five centimetres in other parts of the county.
