TWO teenagers have been charged in connection with the assault of a teenage boy in Southend.
A 17-year-old boy from Southend has been remanded in police custody ahead of an appearance at Southend Youth Court on tomorrow, January 7, after being charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
A 14-year-old boy from Leigh has been charged with assault by beating and being concerned in the production of cannabis.
He has been released on police bail to appear at Southend Youth Court on January 24.
The charges relate to the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in the thigh near Morrisons in Western Approaches on Friday, January 4.
