A MAN was dragged to the floor, kicked unconscious and robbed in a horrific attack.
The victim, a 47-year-old man, was walking through the Chafford Hundred Nature Reserve in Drake Road when he was pounched on from behind.
He was pulled to the floor before being kicked in the head several times and breaking his nose.
As he lay unconscious the callous robbers stole cash from the victim’s black rucksack and fled.
When the victim came round he walked along Devonshire Road and London Road in Grays where he made his way to the police station and reported the attack.
While he was walking a male passer-by tried to help the victim. Police are also trying to trace this man who did not leave his details.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated and kept in overnight.
