I have been horse riding in this area for over 30 years frequently crossing the A127 at Leigh.
However, this has become increasingly dangerous due to the volume of traffic.
A pegasus crossing would allow us riders to cross in safety and enjoy the lovely bridleways which have been provided for us in Hockley and the surrounding area.
We have a right to use these lovely bridleways without putting our or our horses lives in danger.

...I hope our councillors will support the inclusion of a pegasus crossing in the current works at the Progress Road junction.
Not to do so would be an opportunity missed to make this enhancement at a time when it could be done with minimal upheaval and cost.
