SNOW delayed their planned Christmas show in December, but the Glenn Miller Orchestra have rescheduled with a new show, Hits From the Blitz.
Led by bandleader Ray McVay, the world famous orchestra will bring the sounds of the Forties to the Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff, tomorrow night. The show will feature the Moonlight Serenaders and their nostalgic harmonies as well as swinging jazz outfit the Uptown Hall Gang.
There’ll be a special tribute to Glenn Miller’s European concerts during theSecond World War with the second half of the show performed in US Airforce uniforms.
The Glenn Miller Orchestra perform at the Cliffs in Station Road, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £18-£20. Call 01702 351135.
