A MAJOR south Essex road was partially blocked heading towards Basildon with delays back to Lakeside shopping centre.
UPDATE: This incident has now cleared.
The A13 was partially blocked Basildon-bound this afternoon due to an "obstruction" at its junction with the A1089 towards Tilbury, according to Essex County Council's traffic control.

Drivers are facing delays back to the A1012 near Lakeside.
AA shows delays were increasing on the Stanford-le-Hope Bypass between A1012 and Brentwood Road, with an average speed of 15 mph reported.
