BEST friends from Basildon will be opening their new jewellery store tomorrow with the aim to bring a “better class of jeweller” to the town.
Samuel Journet, 30, and Perry Wood, 29, have been running Samuel Perry, an online jeweller, solely online for the last three years.
Now, they will be opening their first physical shop in their hometown at the Eastgate Shopping centre with a grand opening tomorrow.
Both Samuel and Perry worked in H Samuel in Lakeside as their first jobs, and have continued to work in the industry before they later set up their own jewellery business.
Sam previously told the Echo: “As we have ground and become known in the area for being the go-to goldsmiths, we wanted to open a store in our hometown.
“With the recent closures of H Samuel and Ernest Jones, we know the town deserves a better class of jeweller."
The friends will open their doors at the former site of Tiana Marie shoe shop with exclusive offers on ear piecing and permanent jewellery, as well as a pendant giveaway to social media participants.
On their Facebook account, a Samuel Perry statement says: "But there’s more waiting for you at our grand opening – from exclusive offers on ear piercing and permanent jewellery to a first look at our bespoke designs.
"Don’t miss the chance to explore the artistry of Sam and Perry, offering over 25 years of unparalleled craftsmanship in every piece.
"Dive into a world where luxury meets legacy."
