COMEDIAN Paddy McGuiness is coming to Southend in 2025 as a stop on his first tour in eight years.

The 50-year-old, best known for acting in Phoenix Nights and presenting BBC’s Top Gear, is playing his Nearly There stand-up show at the Station Road, Westcliff, theatre on February 21, 2025.

From 7.45pm, the star is guaranteed to make people laugh with his “hotly anticipated show”, which comes after having sold out hundreds of venues across the country on previous tours.

Speaking about his tour, Paddy said: “It’s been eight years since my last tour, and there’s lots of things to laugh about.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in front of a live audience, along with running the gauntlet of cancel culture, click bait and fake news.”

The show, which has an age restriction of 15+, has tickets ranging from £33.25 to £80.25, with the latter being VIP passes.

Tickets for priority patrons go on-sale on December 7 at 10am, with the general sale taking place on December 8 at 10am.
