Police are on the scene of a crash in a major south Essex road near a huge industrial unit blaze.
Essex County Council's traffic control has reported the A127 is blocked due to an accident from Priory View Road to A1015 Rayleigh Road.
Police are in attendance and the Eastbound lane has been closed, according to the control room.
This comes as fire crews are on the scene of a huge industrial unit fire in Progress Road.
Although the incident has been scaled back, firefighters will remain on the scene into the evening.
The closures are likely to cause delays this afternoon, and traffic is currently slow moving on the A127.
