A PENSIONER was knocked to the ground and robbed outside a supermarket.
The victim, a man in his 70s, was the leaving Sainsbury’s in London Road, Southend, when he was barged into by someone, knocking him to the floor at about 3.15pm on Friday.
The person who had barged into him then removed the man’s credit card holder containing cards and cash and made off.
The victim was left with bruising to his forehead and right knee, and pain and bruising to both shoulders.
