AN AIRCRAFT is reported to have made an emergency landing at Southend Airport after experiencing a nose wheel steering problem.
The JOTA Airlines BAe 146 jet was operating a British Airways City Jet service from Geneva to London City airport when it reported the problem and was diverted to Southend at 1.50pm.
The plane, carrying business passengers, landed safely and the incident was stood down at 2.05pm, with the aircraft being towed off the runway.
