A PERSON has been overcome by carbon monoxide fumes at their home in Thorpe Bay this morning.
Fire crews from Southend have been called to Willingale Way at 9.30am to reports of a fire alarm sounding, which was subsequently discovered to be a carbon monoxide detector.
Two fire engines from the station are attending, though no further information is available at the moment.
