STUNNING shots of Southend from the air were among photographs featured in an exhibition.
A-level photography students from South Essex College held an end-of-year show at the Victoria Shopping Centre, Southend, on Thursday and Friday.
The show featured photographs 17-year-old Jess Williams, of Leigh, took with a remote controlled “quad-copter” drone.
She said: “My pictures show the different kinds of landscape in Southend – the shots contrast urban city life with natural open spaces.
“The whole project was really good fun and I love flying the toy copter. It was interesting to find and photograph places I never knew existed.”
