POLICE are investigating after an 85-year-old woman’s purse was stolen from her mobility scooter while she was shopping.
The 85-year-old victim's bag was stolen from her mobility aid while she was shopping in Tesco Express, Leigh Broadway at around midday on Monday October 27.
The bag contained a bright pink leather purse, a bus pass, cash, cards and a mobile phone.
Police investigating the theft would like to identify the man in this CCTV image.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Luke Dyerson at Southend police station on 101.
