POLICE are appealing for information after plants were stolen from a shopping centre.
The three shrubs were taken from three planters in West Road, Shoebury, some time between 10pm on March 13 and 6.15am on March 14.
They are worth around £300 and were planted by members of the local West Road Traders Association.
PC Sharon Blaxland is urging members of the public to come forward if they have any information about the missing plants.
She said: "One of the shop owners followed a soil trail from the planters. It went right into St Andrews Road and then into Richmond Avenue where it stopped.
"If anyone saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area or who has any other information please get in touch with me.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call PC Blaxland on Essex Police 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
