Police chase through Southend as crooks flee burglary scene

COPS swooped to arrest two men for breaking into a warehousing following a police chase down the A127 in Southend.

A witness said he was almost hit during the chase by the runaway driver, after police chased three men in a Ford C-Max through Southend and Eastwood.

Two Tillbury men were arrested on suspicion of burglary after they were allegedly seen to be trying to break into a warehouse on the Temple Farm Industrial Estate.

A fruitless search from the police helicopter failed to track down the third man, who is still at large.

I hate the police! says...

When we did a burglary about 5 years ago, we never used a car, we used a push bike to make our getaway! Was better then a car though I think. Went through dark fields and alleyways etc to make good our escape.
