ALAN McCormack believes it will not be long before Steve Tilson finds himself back in football.
The Irish midfielder, who left Blues a fortnight ago, insists Tilson remains one of the best managers in the game.
And he is certain he will soon be snapped up another club.
“His man management is second to none,” said McCormack, who made 156 appearances for Southend.
“He is one of the best managers out there and I’m sure he will soon get another job.
“He certainly deserves another chance elsewhere because he is someone who makes you feel calmer and more relaxed and he certainly isn’t one for going mad.
“Even when he was working on his own his coaching was entertaining and spot on.
“You really did have to stand back and admire what he was doing so it’s very sad he has lost his job.”
