SOUTHEND United fans have their say on being able to watch Blues at Roots Hall again next month.

Love to be there but as I'm very much inside 'shielded' territory I will have to wait until people start following the rules a lot better I'm afraid.

@GBeard82

Looking forward to resuming the two hour trek from South London! Will be good to be there for our last few months of League football.

@Moorhouse79

Entry/exit plans and seating arrangements need to be clear first. There will be lots of cheering and shouting and these are recognised as high transmitters. Will masks be compulsory? Plus, if we win, social distancing will be out the window as we'll all be kissing each other.

@guybo2112

Over the moon! Watching on ifollow makes it more depressing than it is. I think it will be a boost for the players too to have us back in the stands.

@Strutty27

Can't wait. No matter what is going on both on the field and off it, nothing beats being at Roots Hall.

@KetchleyShane

Can’t wait i’d even forgotten about our plummet into the National League when it was announced Southend was tier two.

@sufcessex

Really looking forward to it. 2020 has been a miserable year so far but maybe this is a step in right direction.

@DuncanCarmicha6

Can’t wait. Honestly don’t care how this season has been, it’s not the same watching from home. Seems unthinkable, but I’ve missed going to Roots Hall!

@samgoody23

Fingers crossed Saturday is the last time I have to watch a stream this season. Relieved even in circumstances.

@WahlbergBlue

Can't wait!

@Kaylalula

Got one of the first season cards when they went on sale. Having worked all but about five separate days off during lockdown I’ll definitely be there!! Need my own “happy place” back!

@TomRoss_

Mixed feelings. On the positive side, watching live football in person is as it should be. But, over the last three seasons watching us lose virtually every home game has been heartbreaking and depressing. Covid safe? Unsure especially getting in and out the ground through one small area.

@tommyharris57

Despite how poor we are, very excited.

@MattyMarr17

Won't be going. No desire to watch them. Been a fan for nigh on 40 years but just can't bring myself to get excited/interested at present.

@FuturesTechs

Not interested until embargo is removed.

@jervis_raymond

It's been far too long and I honestly just want to get back to support the lads and have some small sense of normality.

@ShrimpersTalk

Would love to but at the mo I don't feel safe enough

@KeithEugene3

Buzzing ! Time to do our bit and get behind them
