JOSEPH Reeves is our latest Southend United fan in profile.
Name: Joseph Reeves
Age: 30
How long have you been a Blues fan?
"About 15 years, started just in time as Tilson and co turned up, the rest is history 💙."
What was your first ever Blues game?
"My first game was with my dad way before I started going full time. I believe it was against Arsenal back in 95 in a pre season friendly which they won 3-1."
What’s your favourite ever Blues goal?
"For me personally it has to be Alan McCormack’s 25 yard volley away against Preston North End in the Championship to equalise. We went on to win 3-2."
Favourite ever Blues player?
"So many to choose from but I think I’m going to go with Mr Southend Adam Barrett 💙 "
Favourite ever game?
"Again where do you start. Manchester United at home, the playoffs against Lincoln and Wycombe, Bristol City at home with Wayne Gray scoring the winner to clinch us the league title away from Colchester.
"But in recent terms I’m going with Sunderland at home last season, Johnny White scoring from an overhead kick and Stephen Humphrys scoring the winner late on to keep us up!
"Pure joy and relief at the final whistle while celebrating on the pitch with the other Roots Hall faithful 💙."
