ELVIS Bwomono will be looking to get the better of one of his closest friends when Southend United head to Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night.
Bwomono lived with Cameron John, who is currently on loan at Rovers from Wolverhampton Wanderers, when in the youth team at Blues.
And Bwomono wants to get one over his former team-mate.
“I’m good friends with Cam and we FaceTime three or four times a week so I can’t wait to play against him,” said the Blues right-back.
“I was in digs with him when he left to join Wolves and we’ve stayed in touch.
“He’s doing really well and he’s played in a couple of roles.
“I just hope he’s at left-back tomorrow so I can crunch into a tackle on him.”
