SOUTHEND United midfielder Michael Klass is keen to keep proving the doubters wrong, including himself.
Klass - who could start at Accrington Stanley tomorrow - was released by both Fulham and Queens Park Rangers before joining Blues in 2017.
And the 20-year-old is keen to make the most of his opportunity.
“It’s really hard when you get released, you wonder if it’s the end and if you’re good enough,” said Klass.
“It’s not a nice feeling but going through that makes you want it even more.
“You want to prove the doubters wrong and prove yourself wrong too by showing you can play.
“But I thought Saturday was probably the best I’ve played for Southend and I want to build on that now.”
