HULLBRIDGE Sports will be looking to aid their promotion dreams when they welcome fellow high-flyers Takeley to the Ryan’s Heating Stadium tomorrow.

Sports are second in the Essex Senior League, one point better off than third-placed Takeley.

And boss Darren Manning admitted each of Hullbridge’s remaining fixtures are like cup finals.

Manning said: “It is a huge game for the club.

“We have 11 huge games coming up between now and the end of the season.

“We can’t wait to get going with them and hopefully we can start by picking up a positive result tomorrow.”

Sports prepared for the top-of-the-table clash by going head-to-head with Isthmian North side Aveley in a friendly.

And, although Hullbridge were condemned to a 5-2 defeat at Parkside, there were still plenty of positives for Manning to take.

“It was good for us to get minutes in the boys’ legs, look at some players and work on our shape,” added Manning.
