CASTLE Point Joggers had three members running on the Dorset coast in the Bournemouth Half Marathon.

Thousands travelled to the seaside town and Colin Dunn finished with a time of one hour, 42 minutes and 40 seconds - which was a personal best - as he claimed 574th place.

Tracey Bradley completed the challenging event in one hour, 54 minutes and 29 seconds, which was enough to secure 1,345th spot.

Competing in her first half-marathon, Debbie Dunn finished in 1,837th position after clocking two hours and 20 seconds.

Meanwhile, seven representatives were involved in the Tiptree 10.

Four of those on the course managed to finish in the top 100, while two notched personal best times.

Rick Wade registered a personal best of one hour, 11 minutes and 47 seconds to claim 64th place.

Martin England was less than three minutes further behind as he finished with a time of one hour, 14 minutes and 26 seconds to take 86th spot.

In 90th position was John Sweeney, who recorded a finishing time of one hour, 15 minutes and three seconds.

Cliff King was seven places adrift of Sweeney as he crossed the finish line just 51 seconds later.

Christina Edwards’ time of one hour, 19 minutes and 26 seconds allowed her to claim a personal best and come in 129th spot.

Anne Hoeb and Gareth Smith finished in 219th and 242nd place respectively.

Hoeb registered a time of one hour, 27 minutes and 44 seconds, while Smith completed the event in one hour, 30 minutes and six seconds.

Castle Point Joggers also had teams competing in the County Cross County Relays.

The men’s A team - which consisted of Paul Franklin, Richard Bonham and Dave Flanagan - finished in 35th position.

Team B - which was made up of Mike Hayward, Brian Butcher, Paul Varker and Rick Wade - were 12 places further back, in 47th.

Castle Point Joggers placed 13th in the mixed race thanks to stellar displays from Andy Debnam, June Freed, Christina Edwards and Graeme Edwards.
