Three children had to be rescued from the sea in Southend after their dinghy drifted out on Sunday evening.
Crews from the Southend RNLI and coastguard where sent out to find the youngsters and their inflatable boat at about 5.15pm.
Once the crews using a lifeboat and hovercraft found the children, they took them back to shore where they were met by their parents before being given safety advice.
