GRAFFITI vandals have caused thousands of pounds of damage in Southend.
Police are now urging people to look out for the tags YET’, ‘SAINT’, ‘MCNAB’, ‘EMM’ and either ‘WERD’ or ‘NERD’ which have been scrawled across walls, fences, and buildings.
They want to speak to anyone who may know who is using these tags.
Most recently, these tags caused £1,000 worth of damage to council-owned walls in Canewdon Road and £100 damage to an office wall in Nelson Mews, after appearing earlier this month.
Anyone with information about these tags should contact PC Michelle Bond in the Milton Neighbourhood Policing Team at Southend police station on 0300 333 4444.
