AN ARMED robber who held up a convenience store was captured on camera.
Police have issued a CCTV still of the suspect who brandished a gun at Costcutters, in London Road, Westcliff, and threatened the staff.
He took the till, which contained less than £100, and ran off towards Valkyrie Road.
It is believed passing motorists may have seen the man running across the busy road at 1.15am on Tuesday June 15 with a balaclava still covering his face.
Det Con Kathrine Binks said: “We would like to renew this appeal by issuing a CCTV still from the time of the incident.
"Although the pictured man’s face is covered, he is wearing a distinctive coat, do you recognise it? I would be keen to hear from anyone who can offer information about this robbery.”
