A MOTORCYCLIST has been rushed to Southend Hospital in a serious condition following a head-on collision with a car.
The accident happened in Sutton Road, Rochford, at around 2.50pm today (June 25).
The motorcyclist was taken to Southend with a fractured ankle and spine.
The driver of the car suffered some bruising.
Police had to close the road for three hours while they investigated the crash
