RESTAURANT bosses are celebrating winning an award for customer service.
Ismoth Ali runs the Southchurch Tandoori, in Southchurch Road, Southend, winner of the Customer Excellence Award at the 2008 British Curry Awards. He said: “I was so happy when I found I had won. I really didn’t expect to win it, so I’m very pleased on behalf of everybody who helped us win.”
