A TEENAGER has been left with a fractured eye socket after he was brutally attacked on Canvey.

The 16-year-old was in Mornington Road, near Smallgains Park, at about 1pm on Thursday when he was set upon by two strangers.

Police are treating it as a completely unprovoked attack.

The boy also suffered a fractured cheekbone and a severe cut to his face. He was treated at Southend Hospital and may need corrective plastic surgery for his injuries.

The first suspect is described as white, in his 30s, about 5ft 9ins tall, medium build with short black hair and the second suspect is described as a white, in his 30s, 6ft 2ins tall and a muscular build with short black hair.
