A WOMAN was pinned against a wall in a car crash, before staff from a nearby GP surgery rushed to her aid.
The horrifying accident happened in Preston Road, Westcliff , and led to two women being taken away by ambulance.
It happened after a red Ford Fiesta and a silver Mercedes collided at the junction of Canewdon Road at about 3.15pm yesterday.
One woman pedestrian, aged 24, was left trapped between the Fiesta and the wall and had to be released by firefighters.
The commotion was heard by staff at the Globe Surgery, in Preston Road, who rushed out to help the injured. Wendy Arthur, 45, who has been with the surgery for four years as senior receptionist, said: “We heard the car hit the wall, I was in the doctor’s room and I heard screaming so I just ran down.”
