SHE’S a well-loved character and the star of Jacqueline Wilson’s books and the spin off TV series, Tracy Beaker, will be onstage at the Palace Theatre .
The Wednesday Players bring their latest production, Tracy Beaker Gets Real, to the Dixon Studio next week. The musical adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s the Story of Tracy Beaker sees the mischieviojus heroine, aged 15, return to the care home where she lives.
Looking back on the last four years, she soon realises the people she’s pushed away are the ones she cares about and needs the most.
Touching but with Tracy’s irrepressible spirit and humour – not to mention troublemaking, friendship and fun – it should be a treat for fans of Tracy of any age.
