HIS fans include Elton John, Tom Cruise and even Prince Charles, and tonight, London DJ Ironik will be playing his new track live at Element nightclub in Southend.

Falling in Love, featuring Jessica Lowndes from hit TV show Beverley Hills 90210, is the latest track off his self-titled new album, and he’ll perform it along with hits Tiny Dancer (Hold me Closer) and Stay With Me.

Music legend Elton John famously allowed Ironik to sample Tiny Dancer after he impressed the megastar with his talent.

“He’s been here before and last time he came it was really good,” says Element manager Steve Cochrane.

“He’s got a new record out. It’s in the charts at the moment, so he’s just returning to the club because he was really popular last time.”

Ironik got a dressing room visit from Hollywood star Tom Cruise, along with wife Katie Holmes, when he wowed them with a performance at the National Music Awards.

The DJ also works as an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, and on his website claims Prince Charles asked about coming to one of his shows, though the royal is yet to make an appearance.

Steve adds: “He’s a nice lad, a nice guy.

“He used to come to all my events years ago, when I used to promote. He was really young, just 18.

“Years ago he used to do a lot of schools round here. That’s how he built up his fanbase, doing under-18 gigs.

“He has a very loyal fanbase.

“His music’s now a little bit more mature, it’s got a bit more classy.”
