What would people like to see at the end of Southend Pier?
Do ordinary residents or visitors truly want an open-air theatre and restaurant a mile out in the estuary? How many days in a year would it operate?
Would they really like a performance space for exhibitions or weddings?
Or would some people prefer the simpler options like cafes, sundecks, sheltered viewing areas, improved access to boats and a pub?
It would be good to hear suggestions from folk who live in Southend and care about its future, even if they do not earn big money.
