ARTY youngsters painted and entertained to raise money for a children’s charity.
More than 100 pupils from the King Edmund School, in Rochford, starred in a show to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to youngsters with serious illnesses.
During the school’s enterprise week, Year 10 pupils produced a show based on Hollywood icons in just three days.
They choreographed dance sequences, produced drama sketches, made a film and wrote music, while art pupils painted canvases of famous icons, which were on sale during the evening.
The students raised £250 for the charity.
